Security forces killed 12 militants during an intelligence-based operation in Kalat, Balochistan, while police separately foiled a terrorist attack in Bhag, preventing armed attackers from capturing a police station.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the militants were intercepted during the intelligence-led operation, where security forces engaged them in a firefight and eliminated all 12.
In a separate incident, Balochistan Police repelled an attack on the Bhag police station, preventing militants from overrunning the facility and securing the area after the assault.
The twin operations come as security forces continue intelligence-based actions against militant groups in Balochistan amid ongoing efforts to strengthen security across the province.
