World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka produced a commanding display at the Cincinnati Open, racing past Wang Xinyu 6-1, 6-3 in just 54 minutes.
Sabalenka wasted little time asserting her dominance, controlling the rallies and putting Wang under constant pressure from the opening game.
The Belarusian maintained her intensity throughout the match and closed out the victory comfortably to book her place in the next round.
The result strengthens Sabalenka’s position as one of the leading contenders for the Cincinnati title as she continues her preparations for the US Open.
