Pakistan National Squash Team Stars Win Asian Junior Squash Titles

Pakistan secures two gold, one silver, and three bronze medals at the Asian Junior Squash Championship in China.

Pakistan’s Noaman Khan defeated his Indian rival to win the Asian Junior Under-17 Squash Championship title, while Ahmed Rehan Khaliq claimed the Under-15 category crown.

The 33rd Asian Junior Individual Squash Championship 2026 was held in Panzhihua, China, where Pakistani players delivered an impressive overall performance, winning two gold medals, one silver, and three bronze medals.

In the Boys Under-17 final, Noaman Khan defeated India’s fifth-seeded Shivam Aggarwal 3-1. The 40-minute match saw Khan dominate key moments to secure the gold medal.

In the Boys Under-15 final, top seed Ahmed Rehan Khaliq overpowered Malaysia’s Dhoran Rothy Rhan 3-0 in a one-sided contest. The match lasted just 29 minutes.

In the Girls Under-15 final, Pakistan’s Mehnoor Ali lost to China’s top seed Zi Yuan but still secured the silver medal. Mehnoor had also won silver in the Under-13 category last year.

Pakistan’s Sohail Adnan and Muhammad Umair Arif also reached the semi-finals, earning bronze medals.

The team was managed by Group Captain (R) Irfan Asghar, while former world player Fahim Gul served as head coach.
