World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka will face four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka in one of the most anticipated matches of the French Open on Monday.

Sabalenka is chasing her first Roland Garros title, while Osaka has reached the French Open last 16 for the first time in her career after a strong comeback season.

The pair have already met twice this year, with Sabalenka winning both encounters. However, Osaka’s improved form promises a stern test for the top seed.

The winner will move into the quarter-finals and remain firmly in contention for the title.

In the men’s draw, several players are chasing a maiden Grand Slam quarter-final appearance following the surprise exits of top contenders. Canadian sixth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime leads the top half of the draw and faces Alejandro Tabilo for a place in the last eight.
