Seven-match 50-over tournament begins August 11 in Multan and launches Pakistan’s 2026-27 domestic cricket season.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has unveiled the schedule and squads for the National Champions Cup 2026. The tournament will run from August 11 to 18 at Multan Cricket Stadium.
The seven-match 50-over List A competition will feature Pakistan Greens, Pakistan Whites, Pakistan Blues and Pakistan Gold. All fixtures will be played as day-night matches, with each game starting at 3pm local time.
The top two teams after the single round-robin stage will qualify for the final on August 18. The PCB has also introduced fixed playing XIs for every side, while reserve players can only replace injured or concussed cricketers.
Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shadab Khan, Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan will captain the four teams. According to the PCB, the tournament is part of preparations for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 and will help assess players for future international assignments.
