PPP chairman says his criticism of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir election process will not threaten the ruling alliance at the Centre and rejects the announced results.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has sought to prevent tensions over the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections from affecting the federal coalition government, insisting that his party’s criticism of the poll process should not be viewed as a threat to the alliance in Islamabad.
Speaking after the announcement of the results, Bilawal rejected the outcome of the AJK polls, alleging irregularities and raising objections to the conduct of the election. He said the PPP would continue to pursue its concerns through constitutional and legal channels.
At the same time, he stressed that disagreements over the AJK elections would not endanger cooperation among coalition partners at the Centre, where the PPP remains a key ally of the ruling alliance led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The remarks appeared aimed at balancing domestic political pressure within the PPP with the need to preserve stability in the federal coalition, as the party seeks accountability over the AJK vote while maintaining its role in the national government.
