The police investigation into the Gul Plaza fire has placed the mall’s association at the centre of responsibility for the deadly blaze, according to the charge sheet submitted in the case.
The challan states that the association was primarily responsible for circumstances that contributed to the devastating fire at the shopping centre.
Investigators also examined various items recovered from the site as part of the probe. According to the charge sheet, no explosive material was found in the examined items, while laboratory analysis detected no traces of any flammable liquid.
The findings appear to rule out the presence of explosives or deliberately used flammable substances among the material examined by investigators.
The police charge sheet is expected to play a key role in determining responsibility for the incident as legal proceedings move forward.
