GILGIT: Amjad Hussain Advocate is set to take oath as the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan at a ceremony in Gilgit on Monday.
Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah will administer the oath of office during the official ceremony, which will be attended by political leaders and other dignitaries.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has already arrived in Gilgit to participate in the swearing-in ceremony. Senior PPP leaders are also expected to attend the event.
Amjad Hussain’s oath-taking marks the beginning of a new provincial administration in Gilgit-Baltistan, with the ceremony expected to draw significant political attention.
