Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Kyiv has presented the United States with proposals aimed at ending the war, as efforts to revive peace negotiations remain stalled.
Zelenskyy urged Washington to step up support for Ukraine’s air-defence capabilities and maintain pressure on Moscow, arguing that stronger international backing is needed to advance a lasting settlement.
The Ukrainian president’s comments come amid continued uncertainty over the prospects for renewed Russia-Ukraine peace talks, with key disagreements between the two sides still unresolved.
Kyiv has continued calling for stronger Western support while pushing for diplomatic efforts that it says could lead to a fair and lasting end to the conflict.
