Schools across Sindh will resume a six-day weekly schedule from August 1, with classes to be held from Monday to Saturday in both public and private educational institutions.
The provincial government announced the change as part of adjustments to the academic schedule, directing schools to follow the revised timetable from the start of the new month.
Under the updated arrangement, students and teachers will attend classes on Saturdays, while schools will continue operating according to the notified academic calendar and guidelines.
Officials said the decision aims to ensure completion of the required academic workload and maintain continuity in the education system across the province.
