The daughter of former Pakistani ambassador Ayaz Wazir, identified as Rayan Wazir, died in a tragic road accident in Islamabad on Saturday, according to local media reports.

The incident occurred near the Parade Ground Metro Station when her vehicle reportedly went out of control due to overspeeding and mounted a sidewalk. Initial reports suggest she was using a mobile phone at the time, which may have contributed to the accident.
Police said the car lost control and struck the footpath with force. Emergency responders reached the scene shortly after the incident and shifted the body to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for legal formalities.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash and are examining possible factors including speeding and distracted driving.
