Several terrorists have been killed during a security operation in Lakki Marwat, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, according to state media reports.
Security forces carried out the operation after receiving intelligence about militant activity in the area, resulting in the elimination of several terrorists and injuries to others, officials said.
During the operation, forces also destroyed terrorist hideouts and recovered a cache of weapons and ammunition.
Authorities said the area was being cleared as part of ongoing efforts to eliminate militant networks and restore security in the region.
