An Army captain was martyred while seven terrorists were eliminated during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Hangu, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operation was conducted on the basis of intelligence reports regarding the presence of terrorists in the area. Security forces engaged the militants during the operation, resulting in the deaths of seven terrorists.
The ISPR said the martyred officer sacrificed his life in the line of duty while fighting the militants.
