A Russian ballistic missile strike on Ukraine has killed at least 17 people and damaged key warehouses and logistics facilities, Ukrainian officials said.
The attack has intensified calls from President Volodymyr Zelenskiy for international partners to provide more air defence support, particularly additional interceptors for US-made Patriot systems.
Zelenskiy warned that Ukraine is facing a shortage of defensive missiles needed to counter Russia’s growing aerial attacks.
The latest strike comes as Moscow continues targeting Ukrainian infrastructure and military-related sites, while Kyiv seeks stronger support from its allies to strengthen its air defences.
International partners have pledged assistance, but Ukrainian officials say urgent supplies are needed to protect cities from continued missile attacks.
