PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said Imran Khan was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for medical treatment and returned to Adiala Jail after receiving care.
He said Khan was given an eye injection and a check-up before being shifted back to prison.
The party has renewed its demand for Imran Khan to be transferred from jail to a hospital under medical supervision.
Barrister Gohar also called for immediate access for Khan’s family to meet him.
This is not the first time PTI has raised concerns over his medical treatment, particularly related to an ongoing eye condition requiring repeated injections.
Earlier medical reports from PIMS confirmed Khan has been receiving intravitreal injections for a retinal condition, with officials stating his vision had improved over time.
He has undergone multiple eye treatments since being in custody, with doctors monitoring his condition at Adiala Jail.
Imran Khan remains incarcerated in Adiala Jail along with his wife Bushra Bibi following convictions in corruption-related cases, while further trials are ongoing.
