Pakistan Stock Exchange rallied sharply, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index gaining 887 points to cross the 181,400 level.
The surge came as falling global oil prices lifted market sentiment. Investors also reacted positively to renewed hopes of easing tensions between the US and Iran.
Oil-sensitive sectors led the buying, helping drive broad-based gains across the market. The rally extended recent momentum in equities.
Analysts said improved geopolitical outlook and cheaper crude supported the bullish trend in the session.
