Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities to accelerate the implementation of the government’s right-sizing reforms, emphasizing the need to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of public institutions.
Chairing a review meeting, the prime minister said the performance of government departments should be significantly enhanced through the use of modern technology, digitisation and improved professional training.
He stressed that reform efforts should focus on reducing inefficiencies, strengthening service delivery and ensuring better utilization of public resources. Officials were instructed to speed up the execution of approved restructuring measures and regularly monitor progress.
The government’s right-sizing initiative is aimed at streamlining administrative structures, improving governance and promoting a more responsive and efficient public sector.
