Health Minister Kamal has vowed that no one responsible for the PIMS fire tragedy will be spared, as scrutiny over the deaths of 14 newborns intensifies.

The minister pledged indiscriminate action against those found responsible for the deadly blaze and said authorities would pursue the investigation without protecting anyone from accountability.

Meanwhile, the Senate and National Assembly have approved motions to establish a special parliamentary committee to investigate the PIMS tragedy.

The committee is expected to examine the circumstances surrounding the fire, the hospital’s emergency response and any safety lapses that may have contributed to the loss of lives.
