Jessica Pegula and Daniil Medvedev have booked their places in the third round of the US Open with convincing victories.
World No. 3 Pegula produced a dominant display against Sofia Kenin, winning 6-3, 6-1 to move comfortably through the second round.
Medvedev also secured his progress as the tournament’s leading contenders continue their campaigns at Flushing Meadows.
Both players will now turn their attention to the third round as they look to build momentum and make deep runs at the final Grand Slam of the season.
