Pakistan U18 hockey team advanced to the semi-finals of the U18 Asia Cup hockey after a convincing 5–2 win over Bangladesh in Kakamigahara, Japan.

Pakistan made a fast start, with Abdullah scoring twice early in the match. Adeel, Asam, and Yahya also added goals as Pakistan controlled much of the game through strong midfield play and disciplined defending. Bangladesh responded with goals from Tarikul Islam and Manna Islam, but could not close the gap.

Pakistan’s attacking unit capitalised on early chances, while the defence held firm to secure a comfortable victory. Muhammad Yahya was named Player of the Match for his standout performance.

The result sends Pakistan into the semi-finals, where they will face arch-rivals India U18 hockey team on June 5. The winner will move one step closer to the championship title in the tournament held in Japan.
