New Zealand defeated West Indies by five wickets in the second ODI to level the five-match series 1-1. Jayden Lennox starred with a brilliant five-wicket haul as the visitors bounced back after losing the opener.
West Indies were bowled out for 138 after suffering a batting collapse. Lennox finished with outstanding figures of 5 for 19 to lead New Zealand’s bowling attack.
In reply, New Zealand chased down the target with five wickets in hand. Tom Latham anchored the innings to guide his side to victory with 104 balls remaining.
The result levels the series at 1-1 after West Indies won the opening ODI by seven wickets. Both teams will now look to take the lead in the remaining matches.
