Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya has congratulated Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on the Makkah defence pact, according to officials.
During a telephone conversation, the two foreign ministers also exchanged views on the regional security situation, including developments in Occupied East Jerusalem.
Dar briefed his Kuwaiti counterpart on Pakistan’s position on regional challenges and stressed the importance of closer coordination among Muslim countries.
The discussion comes amid heightened tensions across the Middle East, with regional states seeking greater cooperation on security, diplomacy and efforts to protect Palestinian interests.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Pakistan-Kuwait relations and maintaining close consultations on issues affecting regional peace and stability.
