Jennifer Lopez opened up about the emotional challenge of watching her twins, Max Muñiz and Emme Muñiz, prepare for college after graduating from high school.
Speaking on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Lopez admitted she is struggling with the idea of her children leaving home. She said it has always been “the three of us” and that she never imagined a time when they would not be by her side.
The singer revealed that even writing a graduation message for the school programme left her in tears. She said every mention of the milestone brings out strong emotions, adding that she could start crying just talking about it.
Despite her sadness, Lopez expressed immense pride in her children. She said both Max and Emme worked hard, were accepted into multiple colleges, and earned scholarships through their dedication and achievements.
Lopez also reflected on the lessons of parenthood, saying children often learn more from watching their parents than from being told what to do. She noted that although they may seem different, they often mirror the values and behaviours they observe at home.
Sharing her pride, Lopez said her greatest joy is seeing her children become hardworking and kind individuals, describing their accomplishments as a reward for years of effort and support.
