King Charles III and members of the Royal Family have been featured in newly released behind-the-scenes photographs from this year’s Trooping the Colour celebrations.

The images, shared by the Royal Family on Instagram, offered a rare glimpse into preparations for the King’s official birthday parade at Buckingham Palace.

One of the most notable photos showed King Charles feeding carrots to royal horses, a tradition often associated with his personal affection for them.

Other images featured Queen Camilla alongside the King, as well as Princess Anne in full military uniform taking part in the ceremony on horseback.

The collection also included appearances by the Duchess of Edinburgh and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester during the June 13, 2026 celebrations.

Trooping the Colour marked the King’s official birthday, with the procession beginning at Buckingham Palace and continuing along The Mall to Horse Guards Parade, where crowds gathered to watch the annual event.
