Iran has said there are currently no negotiations underway with the United States, while outlining conditions that must be met before future talks can begin.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said Washington must “behave like a responsible government” and demonstrate a genuine commitment to diplomacy before Tehran would consider returning to the negotiating table.

The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation. Iran maintains that any future engagement with the US will depend on changes in Washington’s approach and respect for its commitments.
