An international law enforcement operation has led to the arrest of 24 suspects linked to India-based organised crime groups.

The joint crackdown involved authorities from the United States, Canada and Europe targeting transnational criminal networks.

Among the alleged crimes under investigation is the 2023 killing of Canadian Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

Officials said the operation targeted offences including murder, extortion, drug trafficking and racketeering.
