Group says it forced Israeli forces to retreat near Majdal Zoun as Israel continues strikes and issues evacuation warnings.

Hezbollah said on Friday that its fighters confronted Israeli troops advancing toward southern Lebanon, claiming to have repelled an incursion near the town of Majdal Zoun.
According to Hezbollah, its fighters targeted advancing Israeli forces on Thursday evening with repeated rocket attacks, forcing them to retreat. The group later claimed it engaged the troops again on Friday using small arms, medium weapons, and rockets.
Hezbollah also reported carrying out additional attacks against Israeli forces in other areas of southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces issued evacuation warnings for residents of three villages in southern Lebanon, signaling the possibility of further military operations.
Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency reported multiple Israeli airstrikes across southern Lebanon, including some locations not covered by the evacuation notices.
The latest developments highlight continuing tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border, where exchanges of fire and military operations have intensified amid the broader regional conflict.
