Military says another 10 fleeing terrorists were neutralised during a follow-up operation in Balochistan.

Eight terrorists were killed after an improvised explosive device detonated prematurely in Balochistan’s Surab district, the military’s media wing ISPR said on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the explosion occurred while the militants were allegedly preparing or handling the explosive device, killing eight of them on the spot.
ISPR said security forces launched a subsequent operation after the blast and neutralised 10 additional terrorists who attempted to flee the area.
The military described the action as part of ongoing efforts to eliminate militant networks operating in Balochistan and prevent attacks against security forces and civilians.
A sanitisation operation was carried out in the surrounding area, and security forces remain engaged in efforts to ensure that no remaining militant presence is left behind, ISPR added.
