Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir held talks with a visiting US congressional delegation on regional security, defense ties and economic cooperation, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
According to the military’s media wing, both sides exchanged views on the evolving regional situation and opportunities for broader cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The discussions also covered economic resilience and the importance of sustained engagement between Pakistan and the United States.
ISPR said the US lawmakers acknowledged Pakistan’s critical role in regional stability and economic resilience, underscoring the significance of continued collaboration in addressing shared security and development challenges. The meeting reflects ongoing efforts by both countries to maintain constructive dialogue on strategic and economic matters.
