US President Donald Trump confirmed a high-level meeting in the Qatari capital. The White House said envoy Steve Witkoff and adviser Jared Kushner will take part in the discussions.
Iran, however, has disputed parts of the announcement, with officials stating that no formal talks have been confirmed or scheduled on their side.
The planned engagement comes amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation in regional tensions, though uncertainty remains over the exact format and scope of the discussions.
