The United Arab Emirates has suspended all trade and financial transactions with Iran following a missile attack, marking a significant escalation in tensions between the two countries.
The move comes amid growing regional instability, with the UAE taking steps to restrict economic and financial dealings with Tehran.
Iran, meanwhile, said any assessment of the situation must take into account what it described as “malicious” actions by the United States and Israel that it says have undermined peace and stability in the region.
The developments add to concerns over further escalation, as countries across the region monitor the fallout from the latest military confrontation and its potential economic impact.
