Travis Scott and IShowSpeed drew widespread attention after taking part in an impromptu race during Brazil’s 2026 World Cup opener against Morocco.

The moment took place at New York New Jersey Stadium (MetLife Stadium), where both were present during the high-profile Group stage match.

A short viral clip showed Travis Scott finishing ahead of IShowSpeed in a spontaneous sprint inside the stadium, quickly spreading across social media platforms.

Following the race, IShowSpeed reacted jokingly, claiming, “He’s a cheater man,” adding to the online discussion around the moment.

The two had previously taken part in a similar informal race in 2024, where Speed reportedly came out on top.

While the off-field moment dominated online attention, the match itself ended in a 1-1 draw, with Morocco scoring first through Ismael Saibari before Brazil equalised via Vinícius Júnior.

Despite the result on the pitch, the viral race became one of the most talked-about moments of the matchday.
