Blockbuster Pakistani film strengthens cultural ties between Pakistan and China

Pakistan’s blockbuster film The Legend of Maula Jatt premiered in China before its nationwide release on May 21, marking a major achievement in Pak-China cultural collaboration.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, congratulated director Bilal Lashari and thanked Chinese film authorities for helping bring the movie to Chinese cinemas. He said the release comes during celebrations of 75 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Hashmi added that the film offers Chinese audiences a chance to experience Pakistan’s vibrant cinema and culture while highlighting growing cooperation between both film industries.
