Security forces killed four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Mastung district, according to state media. The operation was launched following intelligence about the presence of militants in the area.

Security sources said the forces successfully engaged the terrorists, eliminating all four during the exchange of fire. The area was subsequently cleared to ensure no additional threats remained.

A large quantity of weapons, ammunition and other military equipment was recovered from the militants, officials said, adding that the seized material was believed to have been intended for terrorist activities.

The operation is part of ongoing efforts by Pakistan’s security forces to dismantle militant networks and maintain peace and stability in Balochistan through intelligence-led operations.
