Pakistan’s stock market surged on Tuesday as easing global oil prices boosted investor confidence amid hopes of possible US-Iran mediation.

The benchmark KSE-100 Index gained 2,442.72 points, or 1.39%, reaching an intraday high of 178,370.45.

Analysts said improving market sentiment was driven by expectations of lower energy costs and reduced geopolitical tensions, encouraging broad-based buying across key sectors.
