The investigation will examine the circumstances surrounding Imam’s calf injury after questions were raised over why he did not bat during the Test. PCB officials have also indicated that previous concerns linked to injury-related allegations may form part of the wider review.
Meanwhile, sources say Mohammad Rizwan is unlikely to be included in any Pakistan squad in the near future as the board reviews his conduct and role following the team’s disappointing England tour.
