Karachi’s Yellow Line BRT project has come under scrutiny after a report uncovered irregularities exceeding Rs8 billion.
The findings relate mainly to suspected issues in advance payments and project execution finances.
Following the report, anti-corruption authorities have registered an FIR and begun further investigation into the matter.
Officials said the inquiry will examine procurement and payment procedures linked to the project’s development.
