A new fellowship has been launched to support Pakistan’s emerging women documentary filmmakers.
Filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy announced eight fellows for the “Claim the Frame” programme.
The initiative will support the production of four documentary films by selected participants.
The fellowship aims to strengthen storytelling and expand opportunities for women filmmakers.
Participants will receive mentorship and guidance throughout the filmmaking process.
The programme seeks to promote diverse voices in Pakistan’s documentary film industry.
