India’s student-led “Cockroach” movement has vowed to continue nationwide protests until Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan steps down.
Ashutosh Ranka of the Chhatra Jagrukta Parishad (CJP) said the campaign would not end until the minister is removed from office.
“We won’t stop… Pradhan has to be sacked,” Ranka said, as demonstrators intensified their demands over education-related grievances and government policies.
