Hundreds of people marched in New Delhi to demand the restoration of statehood for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Addressing protesters, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said the demonstration marked the beginning of a broader movement to reclaim statehood and rights that were taken away.
“This is only the beginning of our struggle for statehood and everything that was taken away from us,” Abdullah said, pledging to continue the campaign.
