Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has revealed that Grand Theft Auto VI’s Ultimate Edition is leading pre-orders, indicating unusually strong demand for the game’s premium package.

Speaking about early sales trends, Zelnick said “Actually, it is skewing more to the premium edition,” suggesting that a large share of players are opting for the higher-priced version rather than the standard release.

The strong performance of the Ultimate Edition highlights the enormous anticipation surrounding GTA 6, which is widely expected to become one of the biggest entertainment launches in gaming history.

Premium editions typically include additional in-game content, early access bonuses or exclusive digital items, and the apparent preference for the upgraded version could provide a significant boost to Take-Two’s revenue expectations.

With pre-orders already showing strong momentum, industry analysts say GTA 6 is positioned to deliver record-breaking sales when it finally launches.
