Gold prices in Pakistan dropped by Rs5,600 per tola in the local market, extending a sharp downward trend. The decline followed a significant fall recorded a day earlier.
On Monday, gold prices had already decreased by Rs3,800 per tola, reflecting continued weakness in the local bullion market. The back-to-back declines brought relief for buyers.
Market analysts attributed the price movement to changes in international gold rates and currency trends. Traders said local prices will continue to track developments in global bullion markets.
