A massive fire broke out in a three-storey commercial plaza in Muslim Bazaar, Gujrat, on Friday, damaging most of the shops in the building.

According to reports, 10 of the 12 shops in the plaza were engulfed in flames as the fire rapidly spread through the structure.
Following the incident, a heavy police contingent led by the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) reached the scene to assist in emergency operations and maintain law and order.
Meanwhile, seven Rescue 1122 teams were dispatched to the site and, after strenuous firefighting efforts, successfully brought the blaze under control. No immediate reports of casualties have been received, while authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
