
(Web Desk) – China has officially declared its “full support” for Pakistan’s efforts to act as a mediator between the United States and Iran. This endorsement came during a high-level meeting in Islamabad between Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar.
During their discussion, Ambassador Zaidong praised Pakistan for taking the lead in promoting dialogue between Washington and Tehran. He pointed out that these peace-building efforts are essential for maintaining long-term stability and security, not just within the region but on a global scale. The Chinese envoy reaffirmed that Beijing stands firmly behind Pakistan’s diplomatic role in cooling regional tensions.
Both officials also took the opportunity to highlight the strength of the “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership” between China and Pakistan. They agreed that keeping up frequent high-level communication is key to their shared goals. The meeting concluded with both sides promising to work even more closely together to ensure the region remains peaceful and stable.
