Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem failed to retain his Commonwealth Games javelin throw title after finishing without the winning performance.
Nadeem’s first attempt did not count, while his best throw measured 77.41 metres on his second attempt.
The Pakistani athlete was unable to improve his distance in his remaining attempts and missed out on defending his title.
Nadeem remains one of Pakistan’s leading track and field athletes and has earned international recognition for his performances in javelin throw.
