The European Union has ordered Google to share certain search data with competitors and make Android more accessible to rival artificial intelligence services. The move is part of enforcement under the Digital Markets Act.

EU regulators said the measures are designed to increase competition and give consumers more choice across digital platforms. The rules aim to limit the market power of major technology companies.

Google is expected to respond to the requirements as the EU continues implementing its landmark digital competition law.
