Gold prices rose on Tuesday in both global and local markets after a three-day pause. In the international bullion market, gold gained $28.29 per ounce to reach $4,326.27.
In Pakistan, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs2,830 to Rs455,063, while 10 grams rose by Rs2,306 to Rs389,534. Silver prices also moved higher, with per tola increasing by Rs141 to Rs7,314.
In global markets, silver, platinum, and palladium also posted gains, reflecting broader strength in precious metals. Silver rose 0.4% to $68.48 per ounce, while platinum and palladium also recorded modest increases.
The rise follows recent volatility, as gold prices had earlier declined in both local and international markets amid shifting global trends and profit-taking.
