The demonstration included sanitation workers, women employees, and supervisors, who demanded immediate release of pending wages before Eid.
According to the protesters, some workers had not received salaries for four months, while others said payments had been delayed for two months.
The workers urged Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Tasleem Akhtar Rao to intervene and ensure payment of salaries at the earliest.
Participants carried brooms, shovels, and buckets during the protest, symbolically highlighting their role in sanitation services.
The protesters also raised slogans in support of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz while demanding resolution of their salary-related issues.
After recording their protest peacefully, the workers dispersed and returned to their duties.
