TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO: Cricket West Indies (CWI) has announced the schedule for Pakistan’s two-match Test series in the Caribbean, which forms part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025–27 cycle.
The series will begin on July 25 and conclude on August 6, with both matches scheduled to be played in Trinidad and Tobago.
A major highlight of the tour will be the historic debut of the Brian Lara Cricket Academy as a Test venue. The ground will host its first-ever Test match when it stages the opening fixture of the series.
The second and final Test will be played at the renowned Queen’s Park Oval, one of the Caribbean’s most iconic cricket venues.
Cricket West Indies said the schedule supports its strategy of spreading international cricket across different territories while strengthening fan engagement throughout the region.
Pakistan will enter the series aiming to recover from a disappointing run in Test cricket. Earlier this month, the visitors suffered a 2-0 series defeat against Bangladesh, their second consecutive Test whitewash against the Tigers.
The upcoming tour will also mark Pakistan’s first Test visit to the Caribbean since 2021. On that occasion, the two-match series ended in a 1-1 draw, with both teams winning one Test each.
