Stephen Curry has signed a major long-term partnership with Chinese sportswear company Li-Ning, marking the first such deal of his career.
The agreement follows Curry’s departure from Under Armour last year after a 13-year association. While financial details remain undisclosed, reports suggest the deal could run for 10 years.
The partnership will cover basketball footwear, lifestyle apparel, athleisure products and a new golf line. It will also allow Curry to sign athletes under the Curry Brand banner.
Li-Ning plans to open Curry Brand stores in both the United States and China as part of its global expansion strategy.
The move follows similar partnerships between Chinese brands and NBA stars, including Dwyane Wade, Jimmy Butler and Klay Thompson.
A four-time NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors, Curry is widely regarded as one of the greatest shooters in basketball history.
